OK, those are pretty... Our guild leader makes crumb blocks like that with her small scraps. She makes some of the prettiest quilts!

OK, I like how it looks like you have an equal amount of hot and cool colors. Nice distribution with them.
I'd name it 'Cute Crayola Crayon Crumbs' and tell children to say that fast 5 times. :-)

OK - love the lively solids in your new quilt! It would be perfect for a child!

Thanks gals...you are too funny, givio! This pic is 9 x 12, but I started making a narrow crumb border last night to frame it. Had a very busy day at work yesterday...boss was home sick, too. Had to miss my guild meeting, but that's the way the cookie crumbles...several of the gals stopped in just to see me...made my heart happy...

OK, please show us the little quilt again when you get the border made and finish it up! It is too cute.

I've been working on a quick I Spy log cabin kid's quilt. I found a tool at Tuesday Morning that makes it really easy to cut your 2.5" strips into the right sizes for the "logs". From there is goes together really quick and well. I had a drawer full of strips that were leftovers from cutting my 5" I Spy squares, so I was all ready to go. It's so good to do something with them, too. I really want to make a dent in my scrap squares and strips this year. They are taking up too much storage space and need to be quilts.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! I came home from work and my husband was in the kitchen, just finishing a little surprise for me. :-) The potato salad was his own creation, with peas, carrots, pickles, red peppers, eggs, dill, parsley, and I-don't-know-what-all in it. Well, there was a lot of mustard.
OK, friends are great that way, aren't they? :-)
SBG, I'm hoping to make a dent on my piles of this and that this year too. I wish I had a storage place, but my items are mostly in plastic bags. Terrible organization in my sewing space...

That is so sweet that your hubby made that for you, Givio... triple A for effort! Plus the beautiful pink rose and wine for his valentine. Terrific.

Do you live near an Ikea store? They have great systems for storing fabric and scraps. I just love mine.

Actually, it's diet cola. lol I don't like alcohol.
I'm not keen on spending money for a solution. I'd like to make a bigger effort to just demolish the stash. :-)
