SBG - I have completed clues 1 and 2, and am slowly working on clue 3. Such a busy time of year to try to fit in the mystery, but I have loved all of them that I have done. I have been in the process of quilting last year's mystery, but that is going slowly too. I just let it sit waiting on my machine. Thank goodness I have 2 machines set up at all times in my sewing room. One for piecing and one for quilting.

It is a busy time! That's why I am only doing a half sized quilt. If I find that I just love it, I can always make the rest of the units and make it bigger... but I probably won't.
I finished last year's quilt and have sold it. I just didn't like the purple and yellow together, much as I tried to. I still have Allietare on my design wall! I do like that one and need to finish it.

Just popped by to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I miss you my friends but haven't been sewing (lost my muse?) so feel I don't have anything to contribute. I think of yinz often!
Peace and joy, my friends-Jan

Hi Jan - I have missed you too! No problem with the lack of sewing, I get that way too. I don't think I sew as much as I use to either. There are days when I don't go into my sewing room, but I got several UFO's done this year. My Bonnie Hunter quilt is the only new thing I have started this year. I hope you have a great Holiday Season!

Yes, JanRN, please stop and say 'Hello' to all of us, as we miss chatting with you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year with you. Hope you share some family news and how your wonderful DGD is doing since her trip to China with your DH.
Jeanie, it was good hearing from you. I have not had time to sew the last three weeks. DH is getting better, State Farm settled the claim of the deer hitting our GMC . They were very good and quick about it. They even gave us enough to put a down payment on another 'used' but new to us car that says 'Chrysler' on its front and is loaded with all kinds of good stuff. Like a smart phone in the hands of a 'dumb' senior pair, we will learn it as we drive it. The dealer ended up with a good deal for us and delivered it to us even though it was a three hour drive each way. God does work in mysterious ways to help us seniors out at Christmas time. Counting our blessings and thankful of our health issues are mostly resolved.
Trying to play Mrs. Claus to those who have helped us this year. Grunch (from Dr. Seuss) has again stolen some of the joys, but we are smiling and saying Merry Christmas to all.

Ok, now I am jumping in or stopping by to say "Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year." to all of you. I just finished restoring a quilt for my brother in law, whose grandma that raised him along with his dad, made for him. I will give it back to him this Sunday.
Now I will also make my daughter in law some more quilted pot holders she has requested, and my son a grilling mitt, also requested.
All of you be careful out in any slick weather, and as I always tell my husband if he goes out without me, be careful watching out for the other person. You never know what is going on with the other person.
Hugs to all!

Hey June Billy. It is also good to have ya stop by.
DGS spent the night. He & I made a hot pad for his DM for Christmas. It was a good day even though I still have a bit of a cough.
