While at work earlier this week I played a bit with a floral piece of fabric and cut it up for a 4 patch posie and here are some of the blocks.
sorry, the photos won't load because they are too big and I can't make them smaller..I tried..this cp is the oldest one and I doen't remember alot about it..The imaging process is so different from the newer ones...

Honchey, if you load a free program called Picasa, it will size the photos for you so you can post. JeanieG uses it and I think JanRN might be using it not sure. It is free which is nice and easy to use.
Yes, Dublb, I am a bit disturbed by Bernina and their line of embroidery machines. Baby Lock has an expensive machine $ 6000. and software to support it. This new one from Bernina does not allow much except what it comes with... and loading things with the stick. I did not want to spend too many $$$$$ for something I only use once in a while. If the embroidery CD says "exp." on it, it will work on the Bernina, provided you can get it downloaded to a computer and saved on the stick. The bigger Bernina has more embroidery loaded and is easy to load too, is what I have seen and heard...but its $7000 to sew with and embroidery with, then you can step up to the deluxe $12000.00, but the newest model has a lot of bad reports out there. Your problem is to figure out how much memory you will need with your laptop.

Honchey, I use PixResizer, it's free too.
I went to the urologist for my check up after surgery. It seems I've had an infection almost all year last year So now more tests to see if I've still got one or not. Results in a week.

This is a fast pony ride but I wanted to let you knowI got a packet from across the sea yesterday! Thanks Mirabelle. They are both beautiful.and then the rest that have gotten along well in the box in the closet. Only one more month and then this becomes a UFO. I've been working on my January goals and certainly appreciate the focus. Everything is current now so I'm starting my applique project knowing I can give it some quality time. More snow this morning and it's getting colder with another system coming through tomorrow. I've enjoyed seeing the Misty quilts. Dubib, sorry to hear of your frustration with the embroidery SW. So Mirabelle has been roped into DJ. What powers of persuasion you have QuiltE!!! Jeanie...you do look so young in that pic with your DGG. Carrie...glad you're getting some relief. DD...glad you stopped by. What have you been up too? Did DH's DD deliver yet?

Oh what a lovely bunch of pineapples ( think the old song said coconuts, something my parents listened to--I'm old but not quite that old LOL). Love the variety of colors--your quilt is going to be very bright.
Carrie, hope your shoulder and elbow are doing better. Anael, UTI's can be nasty to clear up unless they "hit it" with the right antibiotic. Hope your test shows which one you need.
Today we meet with the lawyer to finalize the settlement of my mother's estate. At times it seems like the past 18 months flew by, other times it seems like that was so long ago. I'm feeling kind of sad--guess this is normal. My mother and I were not close but it still seems so final. Sorry, not whining, just thinking.
Have a good day everyone--nice here today with just a few flurries but bitter cold on the way. Lots of sewing planned for the next week. Do something you love today!

GardenGal, those pineapple blocks certainly brighten up the day! Thanks for showing all of them. One made and one more to go with the MBs.
I find I cannot work long periods of time in the quilt room, I get too exhausted. So I make about three sessions in there right now. So good to hear from more people; and have more to read before I eat lunch. More snow on Saturday and up to fifty on Sunday...almost sounds like March weather. One day at a time.
