DDamsel ... that is a funny one! You could have fun with it by choosing really wild fabrics to go with it. I noticed the blog is from a Guild but didn't see a location. Is this your local Guild?
OKSGlad ... your sister is quite talented. Looks like you have to go east again, to help her with the next show!
JanRN ... I have a Fiskars Rotary Cutter that's ergonomic and it's about 20 yrs old. The first one I bought when I first made a quilt the LQS recommended it for the comfort. Loved it so much, when I saw the same one a few years ago, I bought a second! I do have one of the yellow ones (Olfa, right?) but it sits in a drawer as whenever I used it, it just was so uncomfortable. So, I guess it is like stuff in our Junk Drawers ... just sitting there, in case I should ever need it!
MiraB ... glad you ID'd QNSue's block, so the credit for such a lovely block can duly be directed to you!

Sorry, Mirabelle, I will put your name on it and know; wonder whom I am missing blocks from???? I do keep them all together...in fact, when I went back to check for QuiltE's, it was laying on top of the pile in plain sight.
Jan RN, ergonomic rotary cutter is what I have, a bright red one. I first ordered a blue one 'cause of the color, but it was for left handed persons, not right handed, so I gave it to my bf. It does help some(when I remember to use it!)
DH got the canning pantry shelves finished today. And jars back on the shelf; looks neat. More ripping for me tomorrow will measure a bit more on each side to get it right...I hope.

And still waiting on mine, QNS.
Love in a Mist quilts are so lovely. Glad you found the glitch, Nina Sue, but you know the course of true love never runs smooth!
Update on the auction tonight--3 quilts netted $275 for the school. Felt really good about it. One of the gals who bought last year saw me waiting in line to eat and asked--"did you make any more this year?" And yes she bought. Looks like I have a repeat buyer! The ShooFly was also bought by a repeat buyer. Just may make a itty bitty one next year to see how it will sell. Can't you see one made in red and white with hearts for Valentine's Day?--HMMM thinking, but have other things a calling right now.
Have a good night dear friends, rest the weary and aching bones and joints, and depending on which side of the Siberian clipper you are on--stay warm! We are supposed to get a little bit of snow with this one so will have a blizzard as well.

Jan, I use an Olfa Ergonomic Rotary Cutter (yellow). I've had it for years and that is all I use for most of my cutting. I have a little Olfa 28mm cutter, which is the first one I bought back in the late 70's when I started quilting. I use it for PP. I keep it right next to my sewing machine with a 12" rotating rotary cutting mat.

OKSGlad ... Congratulations! How nice to know that your work is valued so highly by others. How did the your sale prices compare to the last two years?
QNSue ... Glad you got things sorted out about your missing blocks.

Thanks QE. Prices were about the same.
One of the perks of my redo is I can put my design wall up on the east exterior wall. Great place as there is no sun to shine on my WIP's. Took time tonight to get a picture of GrannyQ's block to me and a group picture. With a little shuffling of lights and darks these are going to look fantastic. Thanks everyone for your beautiful work.
And then a group picture!
