Wow, those are some great numbers!! Good on you, OK!
I'm still mad at Nina Sue's husband from her story... how much easier just to open the cabinet and put the cans in it than to open every can and dump out the contents? Some men would rather cut off their nose to spite their face! When my husband is mad at me he won't eat anything I cook or prepare for him. Like that's gonna hurt me-- LOL!

The first 40 years of our marriage MrHonchey was very quiet, we did argue, I walked away and would go for a ride, sometimes for several days to Dsis... When I returned I wouldn't cook until he apologized.. He was always wrong ..He would ask" What did I do now?" Now he won't shut up..He's always talking to the TV!

I am loving all the stories too!
My first husband was an alcoholic, and I put up with a lot for 17 years! When I remarried, I now do not put up with anything! Poor Joe! But we have survived raising 6 kids (ages 9 to 14 when we got married) and have been married for 34 years. I had two and he had four kids. His first wife passed away from a melanoma that went undetected until it was too late (in the middle of her back).

I was checking out my favorite designer, Florine Johnson Designs of her roosters... I have Ralph, Rascal, Rob Roy, Rock, Rowdy, and Rupert. And she has done several since then. Quilt bug carries her designs and I will order the updates next week....that bucket list is growing again. They will go with the two sets of printed roosters yardage I got from the Windmill Quilt store in Pella....make a great quilt in a hurry. Also ordered the small mini triangle iron from Equilter's to do the small area of the Lone Star..Sew many projects....sew willing to stay home and sew.
We got our hair cut yesterday; not a hair on my head that would measure three inches! Cool hair due. Thinned out it gives me a cool head....Only if it grew seed so others could have more nair.

I have been reading all the stories girls. I might as well jump in and hang on. Lol..
I was married to my first husband 27 years. Decided I wanted to know some happiness while still here. I am now married to a man who is so protective of me, and we have been married 17 years. The only thing he is younger than me. He is close to 50, and I am 62. We aren't perfect either, but we respect each other. We help each other as we are both disabled. I have one special son from my first marriage. We are very close. I have a very special daughter in law.
We are having lots of rain today. I have lettuce growing in a container on my front porch that gets plenty of sun. Been working some on my quilt block.
Have a good day girls. 🌻

Our 19th Anniversary is tomorrow (May 2nd)...I have officially been married more than half my life (I turned 37 in April). We too have our ups and downs but still love each other and are growing together through the years....only with God can we do this as we alone would be too selfish!

Oh, but it is, Honchey. My sinus act up in rainy weather, giving me a bad head ache. Arthritis in my hands hurt at night and ache in the daytime. I get frustrated when I cannot see as good as I used too. But I carry on the best that I can.... often its past ten or eleven when i get into the QB room, and dh has to come in and tell me his troubles, aches and pains of the day, then go out and turn on the noise for his entertainment! Earphones run down, starts to hurt him and he takes them off, and I retreat to my room. I just don't liketo complain, and try to always look for the silver lining in the cloud: I nkow where he is and what he is doing. So it could be worse.
Congrats to Carrie on her anniversary. Good for Susan who found her happiness the second time around. DD, the oldest one, had a abuser husband for nine years before she got away from him and is scared of all men now. I pray that she might find happiness someday. I do miss getting to see them more often and getting to talk to them, but they are following their own footprints in their lives; that thought eases the heart pain a bit. Does not cure it. So I try to kekep dh happy, and keep busy. Idle hands can be the Devil's tool for trouble.
I cut out templates from the seventies to the ninty nine in FW 1930 this morning. And discovered its past noon, so will go fix a bit to eat. Its raining here, it helps the farmers who have their crops in, abut I am ready the sun to shine.
