I just set up the "2011 FARM HOUSE" slide show so we can watch as we go this month. I will check each day for new pictures, but if I accidently miss one, please let me know and I will add it in. We are getting more creative, so should be a lot of fun seeing them all.

Thank you BATIKQLTR.. I would of tried to do this as well if I knew how! It is great to have them all together. Chele of the Doll Quilts does this for us as well..

Are you going to try and do the ones for January as well?
Or is it just me that sees only February blocks? OOPs I just went to your main site and found them :) Grrrrrrrrrrreat!

February's square: Grandma's house. I added a tire swing and a pink rose hedge. I will embroider the bailing twine rope to the tire swing and maybe a cat in the window. The grass and rose hedge fabric are from the 20th anniversary quilt that my oldest made in 4-H. The rest are scraps from various projects. My FIL still lives in a house much like this one that my DH grew up in. His mom has a pink rose hedge and when we bought our old farm house ten years ago he planted a rose hedge for me.

The second picture is my oldest daughter reading a love letter in front of the rose hedge.

the tire swing was my first experiment in paper piecing. 13 pieces of itty bitty fabric.
