Is there a reason why someone shouldn't just sew the fabric in order on the block diagrams paper instead of all the paper pieces? This block diagram page. As long as you sew in order it should come out right correct?

it depends on the block..you can do it if its a "square in a square" but not a "9 Patch"

So one should really print and cut out the paper piecing document and sew fabrics on those pieces to be on the safe side?

Beautiful fabrics, Honchey. Nice for some new quilters (new to this thread) to use in the 1930s theme.

Yes, Texastam, I always print out everything and put it into a notebook for later use or not to use. Each block is in a protective pocket sheet and that is where I store each finished block. I have so far pp every block that I have made for the FW1930s. Much easier to do accutrately with pping.

I got one order off fabric in, and the next one comes on Tuesday. Now if only the book comes in time. I'll be all set. I'm really looking forward to this.
