I'M in, as soon you stated batik scraps were fine, i'm in. I have lots of batik scraps. I have always wanted to make this quilt out of batiks.

Just out of curiousity, if we followed along, how long would it take us to complete this project?

happylab: It's great that you are joining us. Make sure you have the Farmers Wife 1930s book...it just came out this month. At 2 blocks/week, it will take approx 50 weeks to finish the blocks (there are 99)..then however long it takes you to put everything together....so you *could* have it done in a years time...at least the quilt top, unless you are a fast quilter too.

In case anyone is wondering about the setting triangles, they are under the template files. I am doing paper pieced so completely missed them initially. I printed and measured them so I can just cut squares into triangles instead of using a template.

Okay. I'm in! I just ordered the book. I've been wanting to do a quilt along, but always miss the starts. The timing is pretty perfect on this one. I *should* have most current projects wrapped up by then. Knock on wood.

Those that are already cutting fabric are stressing me out though!

I will order the new book I have the first one, and I am in a sew a long with the quilt in a day forum. I use the templates from Marti Mitchell . I will follow along and maybe do a couple of blocks.
