I'm the only one left besides my children of course but as far as the Graef name stops with me. It's hard to believe it's almost been a year since my mom passed where does the time go? Well, going to clean up my sewing room a bit and hope I feel like sewing in the next few days.

Such lovely blocks, really going to be some nice quilts.
I too am so sorry for your loss. I know its great thinking that your parents are now together and free from pain, but it still leaves an empty place. A few months ago my aunt on my Mom's side passed away and the first thing my Mom said was, "now I am all alone". It was so hard to hear. There are 5 of us kids that spend time with her often, but yet she still felt that way. It was sad. We are always blessed with the time we have with our loved ones, and the thoughts of seeing them later. My thoughts and prayers for you.

Sewing might help give you some comfort. Hugs from us all.

Sorry for all the pain you have had to endure the last few years. It's never easy to lose someone, but having them in pain is worse. Hang in there, Donna - like Anne said, maybe sewing will give you some comfort. Looking forward to seeing your blocks. HUGS. Jean

LV sorry for your loss, sending hugs and prayers your way.

Retiredteacher, twinharbor and the rest who posted pics, I just love all of your blocks. They are all so pretty.

Here are my July blocks. I have total 13 made and 3-4 more to go to catch up. I'm not sure the top block will make the quilt cut, maybe a potholder. I'll wait and see how it lays out in the end. I'm debating if I want two throws or 1 large quilt. Decisions, decisions. I have 6 months to decide. I want to give quilts in Dec or Jan.

Happysewing everyone, Just think, 1 more day for August's blocks. Yea

Lv2sew, sorry for your loss. Lost my Dad in April, the same day my Granddaughter was born. What a day that was!

Love everyone's blocks, colors are amazing.

One block done, except for final trim! It's been a crazy month with the canning and grass cutting. We have four birthdays in 10 days in our immediate family!

I have my 2 blocks for July completed but I cannot post the pix on my DH laptop. I'm waiting on my computer repair man because my computer worked for 3 days and then it crashed again. Ah, the joys of modern technology. I love to sew on my Singer 301. It just keeps on going and going and I never have to update it.
