Remember me?? I feel lost, lol. I have had problems with the computer for several months now. Could not load quilting board, which is my social life, lol. I know, sad, but I work all day and quilting board is my escape with all the laughter, fun and learning. I have had health issues, but that isn't anything different from people as they age.....gracefully. Wrote quilting board as I know they were doing some changes and wondered if the changes were why I couldn't load quiltingboard. Very frustrating, and missed out on May totally, and then June. Now....after a lot of @?*% I find out that it is the operating system I have in the computer at home and at work. Too old. XP will not load quilting board along with several other things now. So have to invest. Work could afford it sooner than me, so here I am quickly as I don't get paid for this. I did manage to do one block last night. I think it belongs in June. Either way I am posting it here. It will take me some time to play catch up, but I have all of July to do that in, right? Lovely blocks I have seen posted, enjoyed them all. Everyone is doing great, can't wait to see the finished products.

Annt59 & Anngel Anne I love your bonus blocks. I am making my blocks out of pink, green, yellow, lavender, blue, and aqua to use as light summer quilt. It get hot here in the Heartland of Florida and I am going to make a quilt without any batting to use during the summer. Your blocks are an inspiration and I hope to be able to make a couple of blocks today.

Welcome back AnngelAnne. Glad you are back on board. Love your fabrics. I really like the way that pink is wavy. It really adds a lot of movement to the block.
annt59 Purple is my absolute favorite color and flowers are special to me. I love how you are putting your blocks together with the purples and green.

Lovely blocks Angel & Aunt59. Sorry for your computer problems, Angel - isn't it awful how addicted to technology we are nowadays...Wonder how we made it years before..lol Hopefully you can find a solution and get back online soon. Just work on the blocks when you can...Maybe get them cut out, then work on them as you can. It seems the cutting takes the most time, for me anyway. I'm proud of all you ladies - glad you are enjoying this.

I finished block #2 for June this morning and it went very smoothly. I made the bonus block and I love the colors but it does not square up to 10 1/2" so I will have to do some "frogging" and then resew the seams. I may have gotten some of the seams too wide.
