I read something this morning that is so true. I did ask permission and she graciously said yes. So hope you enjoy it.

Legacy of Love
My stitches are not perfect
And points they are not true
The rows not nearly even
But I love the work I do
The peace upon my mind
From designs I sit and sew
Rejuvenates my heart
And upon my work will show
Trails of tiny stitches
Across each quilt shall leap
A legacy of love and warmth
For those I leave to keep

Just Jan, put all of your blocks together so we can see those pretty batiks. Here's my blocks all together that I've finished so far.
Seeing mine this way sure looks like Fall to me.

OK Libster, you asked for it! We should have finished 12 blocks by now, but I have 16. The last set is four that I made that are not in the bee. But since you want to see all my blocks, here they are; not in any particular arrangement yet. As I said before, I'm not much of a photographer! (Love your blocks and yes, they could be for fall.)

Piecing the Past is a BOW. It has been going for several weeks. Rest and Refreshing BOW Civil War Sampler Quilt

I haven't made any of them yet because I don't have any civil war fabrics and just can't decide if I want to go rogue and make them modern.

Oh my! I couldn't decide on colors, which isn't anything new, but then I cut the HST's too big and sewed 2 backwards! I hoped today would go better than yesterday in the sewing room!

Barb: Go rogue and modern with the Piecing the Past blocks. I saw one person is doing Christmas colors. There is a summer BOM from Piecing the Past and I think it starts next week. There is a group on this forum for the Piecing the Past blocks. I am also doing the Moda BOW and those blocks are 6.5" unfinished. I am behind on those.

So here is Alaska Homestead:

Here are some of my blocks and some of them are covered a little. I didn't want to rearrange my design wall to make room for them. Lol!

In the above post, it should read a summer BOW not BOM.

Love seeing your blocks together! You know, we'll need a gallery to show off all of our quilts when they're finished. Every single one will look different even though we used the same patterns.
