Puppies will really help keep you exercised. My dog needs a good walk every day but he used to require several frisbee sessions, too. Arthritis is starting to set in.

Bev, post a pic of your puppy when you get a chance.

Good to hear from you, oksewglad.

Sigh. It looks like I can't post pictures as they are on Flicker. I'm so sorry.

Turns out, my BP medicine should have been on the list yesterday, so a quick run back today for that and oil for lawn mower, but we were too late, the rod threw so no lawn mower now. It lasted 15 years. Just the 20inch electric left to use. So much for sewing this morning. Maybe this afternoon. Dublb, love puppy play, it brightens up the day.

We had 3 days w/out any puppy accidents in the house but today she relapsed. It is so fun when DD bring the litter-mate & we walk both of 'em the we let 'em play. I'm working on a vintage Kenmore. It was my customer's graduation gift in '58. She loves it so much. I got the last part in yesterday so I got it back together, got the last adjustments done & sewed w/it today. I have discovered that the reverse isn't working. I guess I gotta open it back up.

I got it fixed!
DD & I have been walking our puppies regularly. She has an Apple Watch & it doesn't start counting the 30 mins we walk till her heart rate is up to a certain BPM. On Friday we ended walking 2 miles as it was a long time till her heart rate was up high enough. Yesterday we walked a mile & a half. The dogs were pulling hard so we were walking faster & trying to discipline 'em.

Sounds like you are in training, too,Dublb. Exercise is good to stay in shape.

Finally got the center of the homestead layout the right way. It took some ripping out to see it. Now i have the vision, its time to find the desire to put together the quilt top.

Anyone remember those 'Y' seams???? The small center of the homestead M. is "Y' seams. icky. Half of the small center is done. We played cards today, maybe tomorrow I can finish the small center and start the next step on it. Hope that center doesn't discourage anyone.
