Dear Hannah is another quilt about same time frame as Jane's but more applique/pictorial blocks ....not quite so geometric :) The book of patterns was also put together by Brenda as was Jane. I'm familiar with Farmer's Wife ...have the book & plan in my bucket list!! What is pony club & Carpenter's Wheel [or dare I ask???]
Glad to hear you didn't redo the whole thing Geri :):thumbup: |
Mim, you'll find a good group of pictures of a dear Hannah at this site:

I turned my first college paper in after 30 years. And I'm still asking myself (Whose idea was this? I'd rather be sewing.) My professor is tough but super good and very helpful, so I kept her class. And I didn't want to waste hubby's money. When I told him that he said he I could drop out if I wanted but I couldn't go to a quilt store for a month!!! I could NOT bear THAT thought! :D |
@SheriR: You are too sweet!
First paper in 30 years? Wow! I bet that challenged you and pushed you also to "keep moving forward". Good for you! If you decide to take DH up on his offer, I'll take one for the team and stay out of the shop for 1 month with you. There's strength in numbers and shared misery. I mean really...we could produce from our stashes for the next 10 years...but don't let him know that. He he BTW - early on we discussed doing a sigi swap for this group...to possibly use as a backing. It would be great to have a block on the back of my DJ from everyone that joined us for this journey. I am in if we have enough support for it as we "keep moving forward". Happy quilting all! |

In the beginning someone gave a link to a QAUG site that had wonderful pictures and instructions. I printed them out and now my copy is lost. Can someone give me that site link again or at least tell me where that post is. I have looked and looked and looked for it. Thanks.
