Red top my copy came out at 4 1/4 inch also. I think is is how your computer to copier works. I am not fond of pulling all that paper off blocks so will not do paper piecing Katybob you block is cute. I like the fabrics you are using

CJ, give freezer paper piecing a try. You don't sew through the paper, so there's no paper picking.

Thanks. I forgot about that way

I finished my log cabin block!!! I cut 1 inch strips and they turned out a perfect size.

Yea, Redtop! Keep going on them! Here are my little log cabins. They were pretty easy, but time consuming. The hardest part was finding enough contrasting fabrics in my 30's stash.

Oh, Katybob those are so cute. I am going simple with mine. All will have the same centers and white for the light side. I wish I could find where I put that battery charger for my camera. I have not figured out how to attach a pic from my phone.

Katybob, those log cabin mini's could not be any more picture perfect Great fabric choices. :)

Thanks, CJ and Judy. I've started making the flying geese so I won't have so many to make at one time. Someone said earlier in this thread that she thought there were 180 geese. Really?

Katybob. I think the number of geese you need depends on how many blocks you are masking.
