Thanks Judy. I have cut out the rest of my boats. Now to get them sewn before the next block. I hope they throw in some shoo fly or churn dash. Just having so much fun with these bitty blocks.

Awe, what cute little blocks!

Hi! Haven't posted on this thread before but I'm doing the "bitty blocks" , too. They are cute, aren't they? At the moment I'm caught up with 20 of each 3" and 15 of each 4" ....do have to make 5 more little houses because it would appear I never learned to count correctly!!! Think I would say it has been challenging, at least for me, since if you do it scrappy it means cutting all the pieces for each one separately. This last one, the little boats, had 8 little pieces for each boat making 160 little pieces for 20 boats.....whew! ..... anxious though for the next one. Are you all sewing each group into rows like was suggested??? So far I've just kept them stacked on top of one another. If you sewed them into rows how did you fold them so that the bazillion little seams didn't get all mashed so that you had to iron them all out later...ugh! Thanks!!!

I finally finished the July cute little boats yesterday. Is there a pattern posted for the flying geese joining rows? I am stacking my finished, pressed blocks in a basket---waiting to set them into rows.

Hi Redtop! Go back to the windmill pattern...think it mentions the flying geese there but I couldn't find anywhere where it said how many you needed. I only have a Kindle Fire to get out on the internet so I had a hard time counting those little things on the rows diagragm. But I ended up with....don't faint!!!.....180! for my large throw...BUT...you make 4 at a time so that's just 45 sets. So, I did each set of four in the same color combo with different color combos for each of the other sets. If you can't find directions let me know

Wonnie, what size did you make your flying geese? I was thinking 1.5 X 3 would be a good size
