Ha Ha...Look at my Avatar. That is a mini quilt with, I think, 3 or 4 inch bear paw blocks. I will tell you they were hard going and there are only 4 in the mini. So, away we go.

I've got a couple of other projects I'm working on that I want to finish first, but I had to try the May block. These are going to be fun! I really like the double block method in this month's tutorial. It's faster and a lot easier to work with than 1-7/8" squares. Beebonnet, from the looks of your avatar, you're already an expert at tiny half-square triangles. You'll fly through this month's block!

katybob, I love your purple and the bocks are prefect. I am working on a queen size bearpaw, but ofcourse the blocks aren't so tiny. I will start my bitty blocks soon----I'd love to keep up every month

KatyBob---I love your Bear Paw Blocks. I see that I can reverse them so that I can keep on with my scrappy look, because I will definitely use the fast method. I just don't think I will be able to start them until sometime in June. I hate getting behind but I am making graduation and wedding gifts, planting my garden, and getting ready to go on a camping trip towards the end of May. But these little blocks are so darling. I really don't want to get too far behind.
