So how many plan on making theirs with traditional rows and who is going to do more of a free for all?

Vicki, how do you do that attachment thing? Makes it so nice to know what someone is talking about without doing a big search.[/QUOTE]

Elizabrat Thanks, I've found a book about confetti quilting, so I think I'll try that for my first sky row and QAYG as well. I cant start yet as I have to finish #8 & 9 mystery.

I'm considering doing mine as a center medallion with blocks made from my parent's clothing around the outside. I'm not really going to have much "sky" - it will just be the background of the top row with the house and grainery. The rest of the rows will be "grass" as the background. I'm figuring each "row" will be 3' long by 1' wide, and I'll have four of them. Then I'll put the outside blocks (12") and will end up with 5'x6' quilt.

I'm keeping it on the small side - because if this works I know all my siblings are going to want one - and there are 10 of us.

My plan is to do it in rows, but to merge the rows. I dont know if it can be done, but thats the plan.

My rows will be traditional, my theme will be my garden and outside sitting area. I am in a no buy year so have to use from my stash. So far so good. I am surprised that I have made it this far! (Crossing my fingers)
Terriamn sent me some fabric I needed to finish a block for a swap so I didn't have to buy any. For that I am so thankful.
Linda, thank you for all the work you do on these swaps.
