Borrow away Lillian. Still, it sure would be a nice quilt I think. Loads of work, but nice. It’s the type you’d do a block every so often and let them pile up till ready I suppose.

I like the horses in the corner and play on words Patsy. Now you’ve got me wondering when the story ‘Black Beauty’ was written and which came first the patch or the horse.

Leslee gave me the idea of making another single to quilt as a practice piece, maybe a candle stick center cloth or some such. Since the runner is for holiday, I’ll do it in Christmas colors so she can set her centerpiece on it during dinner when the runner won’t be in use. Mmmm…red, green, white and something else I’d imagine…

I am in awe of all of your blocks, there is so much talent here :D I love the bright colors, the contemporary, the whimsy and the traditional, it would be impossible to choose a favorite, they are all so wonderful! :D :D :D

All of these are really wonderful! Bright and bold, country or classic, pastel and seasonal....I think we all do good work. :D

Thanks for the nice compliments! I agree too Sandra....this was a good block choice and we've proven it can be done in so many different ways!

I have wrapped up my remaining fabrics with my block and am planning to make a tablerunner...but I just don't have the time right now to work it up.. have to set it aside and get busy on some other things!

Country Quilter, I love the fabrics in your block and I'm very partial to horses. Great block

I want to be in the Blackford's Beauty club too! :-)) So here is my little B.B. block. Like Yvonne's it is just 6 inches square. I'd say this is the opposite of ShellyQ's block, huh? I LOVE your c'boy block, Patsy! (Or do I mean c'girl?) It is like the coolest kerchief design EVER. Now I want a Western quilt!! (I've got the "I wants" big time!)

LOL  I love it, that is soooo funny

All the blocks are fab, it always amazes me, give a group of Quilters the same patt and the results will be so different, each a reflection of the quilters personality and taste and the fabric they may have at hand. Great stuff everyone
