Well, here's what I have so far. All input is welcome! I put in the creamy sashing, as that is what I am leaning towards right now. I am just shy of 100 blocks. Auntjo & NZquilter, loving your blocks. I think the patriotic look is going to be just beautiful.

That's wonderful DonnaPea!! It's going to be one beautiful quilt!
You've managed to make quite a few blocks so you're almost there
Thanks for the group picture!

Oh my goodness Donna, you are almost there. I like the cream between the blocks. But, whatever you decide will be great.

I'll be watching for the reveal, Teen!

DonnaPea, what a great way to keep track of your blocks! Is it a spreadsheet that you inserted photos on? I'm curious because I was just thinking about creating something like that for myself. I'm absolutely terrible at computers so I was hoping for something easy! I would love any tips. I love seeing all your blocks laid out and I agree, a cream sashing would be lovely! Can't wait to see what you do!

NZ, I used an Excel sheet and inserted the pictures. Went like a charm I can't show you mine as my computer crashed last year and I lost all my files

Here's a link to a Splendid Sampler finished quilt. The blocks are 6" sq. https://bevanddara.com/2017/08/15/it...-still-sewing/ I think this would be an interesting setting for the SBS quilt also. This setting makes the blocks look like they are floating right off the quilt.

Here's another interesting setting as well. Say you didn't want to make all of the SBS Blocks. And, make an alternative block in between.....This setting could be fun too.http://www.shopmartingale.com/ss17.html (60 Block, 4 Patch and Chain) Top Pattern

NZ...Anael taught me the excel spreadsheet and that is what I did mine on... With the GTSB quilt, I scanned the layout page in my computer, inserted the image in excel, And then just inserted my pictures of completed blocks over the scanned image. Might be easier to do it this way since the blocks are all uniformed from scanned image. But either way works great...

if you PM me your email, I can send the excel spreadsheet to you so you can start adding pics...

Spent the day with Sylvia and I'm not done FMQ..but another hour should do it. My body is achey from lugging that thing around my domestic. Thought I'd be able to start on binding tomorrow...sorry....I am spending the day with my precious mother-in-law so I'll get to it again late tomorrow and finishing up Friday. That's the plan anyway... Thank you for being as excited as I am to see it completed... You'all are so sweet...
