1.Grew up in a family of 13 kids in rural Canada.
2.Spent 2 months backpacking across Europe (at age 32)
3.Am almost totally deaf.
4.Have walked (outdoors) for 50-60 minutes for the last 3304 days (over 9 years) without missing a day.
5.Top of my bucket list is to spend at least one full winter in Greece.....finances don't allow it yet.

1. Married my high school sweetheart. Been married 35 years.
2. Have 2 sons and a daughter and 1 granddaughter--waiting for more!
3. Teach in a youth correctional facility. Been there for 18 years. Husband is a security guard there--26 years.
4. Went on a European cruise in 2005. Planning another cruise for after retirement--can't wait.
5. Didn't go to college until I was 30. So glad I did, wish I would have done it sooner though.

1. Married my husband right out of high school. Parents hated him. Been married for 31 yrs. Two grown kids, 1 grandson.
2. Attend United Methodist Church where I'm Missions Team chair.
3. Made all the dress for our wedding including my step-mother's. And my graduation dress and prom gown.
4. Mom died when I was 12.
5. Worked pumping gas, checking & changing oil, scraping gaskets, anything they didn't want to do from age 13 - 16 in my dad's Texaco station.

1. I grew up in Ohio and West Virginia, went to college in West Virginia
2. Married with 2 adult children who have both been featred in television ads.
3. Co wrote and had a book published (Burden or Blessing: A Director's Practical-and Sometimes Humorous Guide to Organizing VBS)
4. Tore the ligaments off my dominant thumb and have used piecing quilt tops as therapy.
5. Attend a community church and very involved with several ministries. Love reading these and seeing how many of you are active in your churches. Quilters are just the best aren't they???

1. I have 2 handsome grown sons, 2 beautiful little granddaughters, 1 wonderful husband, and a cat.
2. I have a motorcycle and enjoy riding with my husband.
3. Went back to college, part time, at age 38 and am now finishing a masters degree at age 52. Wow! it didn't really seem that long.
4. After working for 35 years, I am now an unemployed teacher. Now that I am educated, I can't find a job. This unemployed status isn't so bad. ☺
5. Youngest son is seriously considering joining the Marines.

1. I ran an in home daycare for 14 years and raised several teachers children that way.After closing business and moving upstate I worked as a preschool teacher for others. Besides childcare I have worked as a maid, made hollow core doors, made citrus boxes, and sold Stanley Home Products
2. I have 8 children, 25 grandchildren, 10 GGKs and one GGGD. I am only 64. We do have 8 children and the older greats are from a sons marriage to an older woman but, they have been our all thier lives. We do not divide between birth and Gods gifts.
3.I play the piano for church although I just know the basics. I took lessons when I was in my late 40's because our church did not have a player and to fullfil a lifelong drea of playing the piano.
4. I have lived in Indiana(born there), Oklahoma, Georgia, Ohio and North Carolina.
5.I have sewn and quilted for 52 years and still do not measure up to a lot on this board

Interesting post... I think I'll join in.

1) I have a very sensitive nose (we lovingly call it "dog nose").
2) I get really stressed out when my house gets cluttered.
3) My favorite season is Autumn.
4) I have a major sweet tooth and dearly passionately love sugar in all its guises.
5) I love old Cary Grant movies.

1. I've been married 41 years.
2. We have 3 daughters, ages 39, 35, and 21. Our youngest was adopted out of foster care. We have 5 grandchildren, oldest graduating from high school in the Spring, youngest is 11.
4. I play the piano and have been church pianist for years -- not now, but years prior.
5. I love to quilt, started in the 70s, and have made several. Presently I have a Grandmothers Flower Garden, a Grandmother's Fan, and a baby quilt, (ginghams, 9 Patch, and appliqued hearts, for my great neice, in progress.

1. Been married to my best friend for 40 years

3. Retired early from our local school district--getting too political
4. Born in Utah, moved to California when I was 12 and lived here ever since
5. Ride recumbent trikes with my husband whenever we can.
