Almond Milk....I just dunno
#11
I have issues with regular milk... I can use it if in cereal or mixed with something... and trust me its not the taste...
So I drink soy milk... I want to try almond milk, but I don't want to buy it... not like it... and waste the rest.

Marsye, if it makes you queasy, could be your body telling you something! Ever since I was a kid bananas would make me queasy on an empty stomach. Last year I ate a banana and had an anaphylactic shock episode! Cantalope, pineapple, avacado and more all do the same thing to me.
Google it, the swollen face and eyes stayed for days, the wheezing and difficulty in breathing eased over the course of the evening.

You can buy a soy milk maker and it makes nut milks too. It's cheaper to make your own.

Walmart sells a soy milk maker too.

I don't drink any kind of milk. I tried one of the milk subs and it made me queasy, which is why I don't drink milk. I eat yogurt and cheese. I love Almond butter, which is a little hard to find and pretty expensive.

I drink almond milk with my Life cereal. I have always liked soy milk too. We have a local dairy so we've been buying milk straight from the cows to be healthier. We bit more expensive, but I'm trying to cut out processed foods.

WalMart has almond butter, never noticed it being very expensive but never bought it anywhere else. I make our peanut butter. I buy shelled peanuts and put them in a food processor, add a little salt, and maybe a little safflower oil to get it smooth and that's all. I make small batches at a time. The peanuts are good for months if kept in the freezer. DH came home from the store with bacon mayo, said it was new and he loves bacon anything.
