This may seem odd, but what my DH and I are doing is we are following a native american cure. You take GOLDEN RAISINS and soak in a bottle of GIN for seven days and eat 7-10 per day. It helps with the arthritis and busts it up. If you have fibromyalgia and those kinds of nerve issues, it helps as well. Seems odd, but works. You can try this. I do and I am still quilting and have it in my back as well as my feet.

See, I am not silly. Who would think golden raisins and gin would help the body feel good. I am not a drinker, but will do what it takes to feel better. You do not get drunk at all and the scent of alcohol is not on your breath either. You just have to try it. At this point, it can't hurt.

In stead of using regular sissors I bought Fiskars, they have a spring on then and you dont put your fingers through them
like regular ones. I bought at walmart because they were cheaper.Joanns will be cheaper using a coupon. I dont use the old ones any more because my thumb really hurts.I have a machine that uses wax but haven't used it jet because I need a candy thermometer to check the temp of wax. I sure hope it helps. I have serveral quilts I need to do for the holidays.I will pray for all concerned with same issue. Dawn

Speaking of exercise. PBS has a program "Sit and be fit" She does a lot of finger and hand exercises. She also sells tapes and DVD which covers arthritis
