I purchase my loose tea from Teavana. Love the tea but quite pricey. Usually make it a treat for a special occasion when I go there. Would like to find the same teas at a lower price.

Yes, Teavana is the place I went, I can't afford too much there,but oh my how wonderful the teas were they had made for samples the day I went . They are too far away and too expensive so I am starting my search.

I am an avid tea drinker, but can't help you with online sources. One of my favourite teas is "Russian Caravan" it has a very smoky taste and I really love a good English Breakfast. Still can't get the taste of Green Tea, but in summer drink a few fresh herbals....lemongrass is lovely and one of the safer herbals to experiment with. Used to give my children Chamomile Tea sweetened with honey before bedtime when they were small.

Teavana is also my favorite. We have a shop here in Vegas at the Fashion Show Mall...my favorite is "Too Life" with a little extra "Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls Green Tea". It is expensive, so for us its our winter favorite for a night-time warm up : )

Love davids tea too. I am so hooked that the regular tea bags are no longer appealing. I've become a tea snob!!!

I know exactly what you mean!
Until I found David's I would try loose tea, and then soon return to bagged tea.
Now I'm so sold on David's that the other day when I used a tea bag, it seemed so strange!

I love tea! I am too lazy to do steeped loose tea but I do buy it when I am out for a special treat. Tea is a diarretic so it would be hard on someone who was having kidney problems. Some people can't function without their cofffee, I'm that way about my tea!

In all honesty, I didn't think that the U.S.A. had very good tea whilst I was there. However, I notice that Madura tea is exported to the States now, so it should be improving. I really like lapsang souchong tea but it is not to everyone's taste. There are many nice tea brands and my personal preference is for Twinings and Madura. Upton's has very good tea and sell tiny amounts so you can sample before purchasing. I have been dealing with them for years and never disappointed. Love the way they label your name on the bag.
