So gld that we ould all be a part of her special day. Sh also learned that sometimes it pays not to be greedy. "no present, just cards" worked out great for her. One present would have been opened in a minute and it took her hours! I love it when the simple things make someone happy.

So often we don't get to see how a little giving makes a little girls face light up. Thanks for the pics. Was a joy sharing her birthday and keeping track of all the cards coming to her and the antisapation of the big day. Thanks again for all you did for her. God Bless.

It looks like Emily had quite a birthday - have printed the pics out to show dh - he was watching me cut fabric to include in my card and asked what I was doing - this sounds like it's one of those "special memories" birthdays that you look back when you are a grown-up and say "that was the best birthday ever!" Thank you for letting us share in the special day of a special little girl.

The love just keeps pouring in! She got another 25 cards today. She was playing outside when the mail man came, she ran to go get them. All excited! She got somemore fabric today too.
We made the pillow case that texasgranny sent fabric for today, it matched up nicely with a pink FQ that Tulip sent. So we got a rockin pink pillow case!
How to make the quilt? Any suggestions on patterns? I thought about a D9P, but some of the squares she really doesn't want to cut up. Any suggestions?
