That's how we got our oldest Whippet, he was a rescue and he is always so grateful he has us as a family. He talks with his eyes. Glad you two found each other it was fate.
DD and I live about 3 1/2 miles apart, and ppl are always dropping off animals.
She now feeds 8 cats. Wonder how ppl know where to drop them? hmmm, maybe Gaigais', tag line is correct

Nope  , she's ALL mine, appetite, vet bills and all.
Good thing she doesn't eat much, and appears perfectly healthy and quite happy, if I do say so myself.
I do wonder if she has 'issues', bc she sits on the back porch waiting for me, all day, and all night. Almost makes me feel a little guilty!
She plays with all the cats though.
A stray cat showed up two days after her, and I wonder if they came from the same place, they seem very familiar with each other...kind of "Homeward Bound" like. :D
are you keeping the cat? please say yes.

she may indeed have issues. after all, she was dumped. and who knows what happened to her pups? she's probably always going to be "needy". all the affection in the world won't be enough. i had a cat like that. glued to me. he was only happy when i was there. wanted to be petted and hugged every minute. put his arms up to be carried. there's a lot to be said for a pet like that. they are the best company in the world.

can she come in at all?

Well QC hope you don't mind I borrowed your picture but here is proof positive she is part beagle! This is my pure bred blue tick beagle Maggie. Think they look alike aside from differant colors and the longer body??

I am so glad you adopted her. She looks part terrier for sure, I had a rat terrier that had the same colorings and they can be about that size as well. Whatever she is she is a sweetheart and I am glad she found you. My house is the same as yours, they always seem to just show up for some reason.

I am if hubby doesn't intervene. There's nothing else for me to do. I refuse to take any more animals to the pound. I did that based on an agreement once...nope, nope, nope. Tore my heart right outta my chest.
So, she's an itty bitty thing too...not much more than another handful of food, twice a day, and she gets along with all of them, and looks just like my Ginger! (that's how she actually got "in"...I didn't notice at first!) :D

She is just such a sweetie pie. I know things are tough for some people right now and they do get abandoned and it doesn´t just happen in America, Our three dogs were all abadoned.

I know for sure Bitsy will be loved and that sure is a lovely cat too. Looks like they knew they were on to a good thing when they found you.

Oh, I bet you are right- they are from the same home. So sad that they were abandoned, or whatever happened.

Bitsy is adorable and her friend is handsome!

She is so cute! Maybe part basset hound-their bodies are long like hers.
