I love to do hand embroidery. Lately I can't find good hoops, though. I find the embroidery floss tangles too much and breaks easily so I have switched to perle cotton and only use one strand. So much easier once I find a fine needle it will fit through. Enjoy your new machine. :)

I have been up until 3am so many times. My days used to start at 11pm until 12 noon the next day for 17 years. I still can't go to bed until 2pm at the earliest, even at 53 I can still do a 48 hour day, and that's just nuts.

Congrats on becoming a regular again ! Your biscuit quilt is awesome. Last night I slept about 2 hours straight which was great, then I started waking up every hour which is fretful. The night before I woke at 1:30 after about an hour of sleep, finally got up and went back to bed about 5 a.m.
I used to joke when I was raising my children and so sleep deprived that I would sleep when I got old, well, I'm old so where is the sleep ?
