Default Christmas shopping.

I have bought more for me this year then anyone else! And I like it. I have so many great prices on items I wanted it was hard to pass them by, especially things I will use in my sewing room. I was thinking of wrapping them and putting under the tree but the family may get jealous. LOL

Wrap them and put from Santa Claus. That will make the family wonder! LOL

I love the fact you thought of yourself while doing other shopping. We often neglect our own inner "child". And to know you got great deals while building up your sewing room, even better!

Good job! It's so much fun to find sewing things and fabric at great prices.

That's one reason I really dislike Christmas shopping....it's usually - one for them, two for me! - and I justify by telling myself oh, they would never think of getting THIS for me!!!!!....

Me too! Just spent over $700 on myself. With the help of DH who has been after me to get the dies I want for my GO Big. Well I had to get the mats... and then saw some sewing machine feet, a fat quarter collection that I think will match some fabric my cousin brought me from England...
Figure after the year I've had and my DH won't get out shopping for me ... I deserve this!

You could always pass them out to family members who didn't know what to get you. Let them wrap them and put them under the tree.

I think it's important to spoil yourself. Last year I did a heap of canning over the summer and gave a lot of gifts. I strained my back in the process. I was knee deep in bath salts and soap at Christmas and making handmade labels. I was pretty tired in all truth.

Thank goodness I came to my senses. Sewing has changed my outlook and I've enjoyed grabbing the "necessities" and the numerous bargains that crop up. I'm developing an addiction to sewing machines and on the lookout for fabric. What a difference a year makes.

I struggled more this year, too, with buying for myself. There was so much I really could use in my wardrobe. It's hurt the budget, but I'm trying not to worry about it too much!
