Yes, I put up a tree. I also put my Christmas dishes out. I do have people over for Christmas but I will always have a tree even if it is a small one. I lost my husband this year and wasn't going to put up a tree, but he wouldn't want that and he loved the tree and the lights. It is different but it is so cozy at night and the spirit is there.

Yes, I've downsized the size of the tree and amount of decorating around the house but there is a tree in the living room, wreaths on the front door and windows and a few lights strung on the foundation plantings and the kitchen and dining room tables have Christmas placemats and tablecloths. Think I'll always have a little tree of some kind for Christmas. Find I'm making less Christmas cookies each year but I like to do a few batches for family and friends, even though DH and I eat as many as I give away. May in Jersey

We haven't put up a Christmas Tree for 5 years. Ever since we lost our youngest daughter. She always used to help me put up the tree. Just don't have the heart to do it by myself.

We switched to an artificial tree at some point; then it got wrecked, so I now use a little desk tree I had when I was teaching. I had used it for my mother in law for her room in the nursing home for three years, and when she passed, it came home to us again. I love to turn on the lights at night, too, and so enjoy it. It suits my lazy self too, cause I can put a garbage bag over it, and store it all decorated, and just pull it out again the next year. Easy peasy, and Merry Christmas to you all!

I don't put up a tree when the family is not coming home. We RV to Florida on Christmas Day or day after. I don't want to face a Christmas tree in April! We have a small one that travels with us so I do have a tree, all 2 ft. of it!

Yes, we enjoy it and we have family and friends in who enjoy it too. Wouldnt seem as festive without one.

I'm looking forward to the day I don't have to anymore. I really don't like the whole "tree" idea. One year we put up a nativity and put the gifts under that. I liked it a LOT better.
My youngest is 14 and he still wants one.

I have a tall narrow tree decorated with photos ,l hand-made ornaments, and a hodge-podge of special ornaments from 43 years of marriage. i also have a tree in dining room decked out with fragile Santas, poinsettias, snowflakes, bubble lights and new lace ornaments made by a friend. In the kitchen is a small flamingo-bedecked feather tree. Today, my neighbor surprised me with a lovely white ceramic tree that I adore. It's now in the entr! ... Oh there's also a little tree with crazy quilt ornaments. I think I'd have at least one tree if I were the only person here. But I'm glad I'm not....I also have at least five nativity sets out (more in boxes) dozens of handmade Santas and angels.

Due to my crazy schedule this year..I've only been 'home' about 24 hours since before Thanksgiving..I don't have my tree decorated yet. But it will get done! If only just the lights, since they are the part DGS and I like best, even though I collect Christmas ornaments and nativity sets. The cream and gold nativity set stays on the mantel year round as it's too pretty to put away.
