I wear Clarks, Merril's Reiker, and Josef Seibel shoes.
I have just retired a pair of Merril's that are about 9 years old.
Munro shoes are worth a splurge. Made in the USA too.
I tried SAS years ago and found that the did not last as well as I expected for the money I spent.

I am a nurse and use Birkenstock shoes. I did not know if they were going to kill me that first week of breaking them in or I was going to throw them out. Ten years later, I am about to buy my next pair.

Are any of these dress shoes? And how can you buy shoes online without trying them on? I try mine on in the store and think they'e fine, and later realize that the arch doesn't really fit my foot. I don't have problems with tennis shoes oreven casual, but dressier ones for church and such are really hard to fine. I can't have a heel either b/c of other issues and need an arch.
