I went to all programs, there is no vista, it wanted me to purchase a security program. My security program is Kaspersky.
I am afraid it may be hiding in the background; but there is nothing to indicate it.
Do I just wait and see?
Why am I spending $ for a security program and end up with a virus anyway?
Have you tried to manually run your virus protection and see if it picks it up ?

The program that hit me told me I had over a hundred virus'! When you get rid of the one, there aren't any others.

My husband did that same thing and we had to take it in and let the professionals clean it out.

And this is the reason why I got rid of Windows as an operating system and installed Linux on my computer. And the best part is.... Linux is FREE!!

I'm just not much of a techie person. I do know how to download stuff and install and uninstall but I wouldn't have a clue how to get out of windows and go to Linux. I do want to do whatever I need to to not have this happen again! But I did this to myself. I thought I could close it out and get rid of it so I clicked on it and I never should have done that!!
