I am in again for December!
I have a nasty cold and cough going right not. Was sick with fever 2 weeks ago. No fun
Tomorrow is my first day of babysitting my newest Grand for the day. Poor little Faith is colicky and does not sleep well. I hope i have the cold mostly licked before she arrives at 7 in the morning.

Had a great Thanks giving. All my kids and Grands were together for the day and for breakfast on Friday. Loved being with them all! We were down at my mother's house and had DH's mom and step dad over for dinner as well. There were 23 of us. I was good and did not over eat. Only had a sliver of pie. I was happy!

I am in for December. Hope I can do well. There are 3 Christmas parties next week. I had better go to extra spinning classes and be extra careful with my breakfasts and lunches.
One of the kids at school is moving:-) If there is a kid I will get in trouble over I think it is him. He whines and complains all day long. I know he just needs positive attention, but whining makes me nuts. I try to talk to him and give him a hug or just a pat on the back as much as I can. He so disrupts the class. We are counting down the days:-) I feel bad for being happy about it.

The winner for November is Jims Gem! With a loss of 5 pounds. Congratulations Gayle.

I have FQ from the following for December. Podunk Princess, Pam H, LeAnn, Jims Gem, Anna Quilts and Meanmom. It sounds like we have quite a few who are really wanting the black and white fabrics. Good luck everyone. December is a tough month with all of the parties.

Good job, Gayle. Five pounds in November is a lot. Do you have any words of advice for those of us who'd like to do the same in December?

I'm have a sore neck and need to do a morning yoga class tomorrow because my grandson has his first varsity basketball game in the evening. It will help or hurt, but I'm not staying home. The morning class is taught my instructor's teacher and the clientele is more my age. It's a nice alternative to have.

Shopping is coming along well, but I haven't started decorating or the little bit of sewing I want to do. I have mislaid a 2 two yard piece of fake suede. Where could it be?

I AM losing weight and becoming healthier.

I finally got rid of my headache I have had since thursday last week. My body really didn't like giving up sugar! I decided to also give up dairy along with all my other things so that I can do the 10 day Daniel Plan detox. It's really hard! I get to add dairy back in on saturday so we'll see what kind of adverse effect it has on me. I'm hoping not any.

Congrats, Gayle. That was a nice loss.

Judy, I really am losing weight and becoming healthier. I'd better with all I am sacrificing right now. I just came home from a Christmas party. Not one speck of sugar went in my mouth.

Thank you all!
Only thing I did was try and eat more veggies on my plate and only occasionally have a starch/side dish. I was able to avoid any Halloween candy and only had a small sliver of pie for Thanksgiving.
I have been avoiding most breads and starches. Drinking lots of water. It probably helped that I was sick for a few days. Only fever and stuff but did not each much.

I did a Daniel plan detox last year and dropped 8 lbs during that time. Of course I gained some of that back

Wow Pam - giving up sugar is HUGE! Your discipline is outstanding.

Gayle, I'm trying to eat more veggies also. The only time we have pasta or rice is when our son is home.
