Now I am hoping I got enough extra of the Jungle fabric for my blah yellow nad green quilt to make some Jungle print diaper covers - his parents can nickname him Tarzaaan of the Jungle.

My step-daughter has some made but with velcro on the sides that can be washed as they're real diapers from some special soft waterproof plastic thingie and not too cheaper either. But i like this cover idea much better , can changed to matched his tops, especially when its hot and he can run around in the house in these cover & tee shirt only.

yep I saw them online too. There are a few different types... just search on the net for diaper cover patterns and there are a bunch of them that pop up..

Fidgety - Thank you for posting the pattern. My "niece" just found out she's having a baby so I'm looking for stuff to make for her.

Look great. Regarding looking "redneck", no diaper at all would probably be worse.

Two yrs ago I worked with ladies to make some cloth diapers which were made with this expensive fabric called "PUL" that was the diaper cover part
That part was waterproof - you put in inserts. All so new
to this grandma because I used white flannel in my times.

Supposed to get church group together to do large charity project but never happened. A mom had got all info from the internet.
