I have heard to have some who smokes blow smoke in ear..and the person who told me had it done to him and he said it worked for him.,,..so its worth atry.,

My dad lost hearing because of this please do not blow smoke in your ears.

Oh, I'd forgotten about sweet oil. Just plain old Olive oil but maybe purified a little bit more. It's been around for thousands of years so must be safer than lots of the present day chemicals.

We always use Sweet Oil warmed and use acouple of drops in the ear.

Onions have allicin, an anti-microbial/antifungal, that's why it often works "like" an antibiotic.

By the way, "candles" for ears is also an ancient remedy. They are not actually candles because they are hollow tubes, but one does light the end of them and the flame creates warmth which tends to draw unwanted substances (wax) up out of the ear into the tube.

a clove of garlic--anti-infective. try to peel it without crushing it. if you crush it, coat in olive oil or cheesecloth. Also mullein flower oil relieves pain really nicely
