If you are talking about an ear that is full of wax and therefore "stuffed," there is an inexpensive product called Debrox that works very well. Once that has been used to soften the wax, you can gently flush the ear with a rubber bulb and warm water. I do this often as I have heavy ear wax that accumulates and is annoying.

i get one stuffed ear, always the right ear, a few times a year..sometimes it last so long, i thought i had just lost some hearing in that ear.
i finally went to see an ENT doc, and after a few tests, peeks in the ear and sinus..she said it was my sinuses.
now my husband has sinus issues, really bad..headaches with them. so i had no idea mine was sinus also.

Onion juice is an ear remedy that my family has used for generations. My sister didn't believe me until her 4 year old ended up going over three rounds of antibiotics and then finally tried my suggestion...one drop morning and night for two days and it was cleared right up. Same thing happened with my dh...it really works
I do it differently though...I just cut an onion in half and scrape with a spoon to get a couple of drops.

My family has used sweet oil for generations. and another old remedy for ear or tooth aches is to heat salt as hot as you can stand it, wrap in cloth and hold against the jaw or ear.

A trip to the ENT doctor to clean out his ears -- he has probably got enough wax in there to make a candle.

Wrap a saucer in a damp towel. Microwave it for about 30 - 60 seconds. Make sure it is cool enough not to burn you, and put it over the ear. When I do this, I put an unheated towel between the heated saucer and the ear.

I have unclogged ears by blowing in it with a hair blow dryer. If you use it on high, don't use it long enough to burn your skin.

My doctor told me to pour a little hydrogen peroxide in the kids' ears once a month to help with wax build-up. I have heard this from more than one doctor, but my son went to an ear specialist that told me this.

when I had a stuffed ear and went to the dr for it. he had his nurse to get a pot of warm water and me lie over the sink and poured it in.. I think it took a couple of pots to loosen the wax that was causing it to be stuffed.
