Do you have a house fairy????

When I was a stay at home many years ago. When I rearranged furniture, the joke was the furniture moving fairies had been there. We had some other fairies that did other tasks also. It was always their fault, not mine.

Mine is an angel. I know it is! I have to go out today to apologize to a store for telling them they did not put something I had purchased into a box. I got home, the box was shut, there was the other gift in the box but then there was just bubble wrap. This was over a week ago. Saturday, I got in the car and it was sitting on the passenger car seat. No one sits in that side of the car unless someone is with me - except the angel. I brought food over to my sister in law's home, gifts, etc. and put everything on the passenger seat - front. So now today, I have to return that gift - it was a cast iron bird with its wings covering its eyes as if not to see what was going on - The store gave me another one to replace it and I don't think anyone is going to believe my story (which, by the way, I am sticking to)and couldn't decide whether to fudge the story or not, but if it was an angel, far be it from me to get an angry angel on my case. So I'll go down there and tell them the story, return the bird with its wings covering its eyes - He didn't see anything!!!!!!!!!
We joke about the garden fairy, the shoveling fairy, the snow fairy, but I do not believe in fairies. I do believe in angels. And this angel is having such a good time. But she is teaching me a lesson - don't fib for one thing and secondly you have a chance to let people at the garden shop know there are angels and they may pass my totally hard to believe story around and someone will believe it. Edie

We have a resident ghost. Really, there is a portal to the spirit world in my house, confirmed by a psychic. We get paranormal stuff all the time. We mostly ignore it till something goes missing or we hear weird noises, then we blame it on the ghost. When things go missing,we ask the ghost to return them. So far, it's worked.

Yes, our house fairy takes things. Years ago while living here I bought a new skirt. I really liked it and looked at it in the closet a few times during that week out of excitement to wear it to church that following Sunday. Come Sunday morning the skirt was NO WHERE to be found. Still never found it.
When we lived in Alaska a few times after folding laundry I came across a pair of men's socks which were a small size. My dh wears size 12 shoes so we knew they were not his! After much teasing we would say "they belong to the little man".
I don't believe in ghost other than evil spirits so to say it's a fairy is fine.

My last house had a ghost as well. I saw it the first night I lived in the house, although it wasn't my first sighting of a ghost, I slept on the sofa that first night. The next morning when I got up, I opened the door to the second floor and yelled up the stairs "Okay now, listen up, I own this house now and I am not leaving, if you wish to stay, it is okay with me." Over the years I lived in that house, I was frequently comforted by the ghost.
There also appeared to be a portal of some kind in the house, it would briefly open periodically. I always thought I had imagined it until one night a friend of mine saw it as well. I never felt fear or threatened in that house -- just peace.

I would LOVE to see a real ghost, although I may have just recently. I work very early so I'm in the building about 2 hours before anybody else comes in. A few weeks ago I was surprised to see a man I didn't recognize walking down the hall ahead of me. At that early hour, only every 3rd light is on down the halls so it was dim and I couldn't tell who he was. He went to the end of the corridor and turned into an alcove that only leads to a meeting room, which was REALLY weird. I waited and didn't hear the doors to that room open (you have to use a fob to get into that room, and the latch is a solenoid that makes a loud bang when it releases) and there's nowhere else that alcove leads to, so I walked over to see if he was still standing there. I thought maybe it was the security guard trying to jump out and scare me...but nobody was there. Spooky!
