Im several days behind, so sorry about that!;) My wedding dress was on sale at a local dept store. Not really a wedding dress, but when I tried it on, I had to buy it. It looks like something from the 1800's. I plan on taking pieces of it and making hankies for my 2 son's brides ( If they ever get married). or maybe bible covers with a bride's bible. Or even the ring pillow. Neither are in a hurry to get married.HA!

We got married in our park on our property. I wore a long yellow dress and DH wore a yellow shirt. We still have our outfits!

Yes, I do still have mine...keep thinking I will use it to make a quilt...or maybe christening dresses for future grand-kids...it is a dress that my aunt made for me..beautiful antique colored satin.

I too saved my dress with dreams of my daughter wearing it. Alas, she did not get the 19 inch waist, so needles to say she had her own. Although i am 27 pounds heavier after almost 50 years, I still treasure it. I think I will use JeanK's idea and display it next May 26.

Made mine, and still have it. As this is 3rd time for both of us, I did not make traditional. It is two layers...outer sheer layer is a pretty blue, underneath layer is mauve/pink. I still wear it occasionally if we are going out somewhere special.
