THe problem is though, sometimes it's not dark enough for the lights to turn on when it rains really hard, it's only grey. As someone stated earlier, people think the can see, they don't worry about it, but the problem is "to be seen" by other drivers.

I drive with my lights on all the time. I want to be seen. The other morning on the way to work at 6:00am, in the dark, I stopped at the stop sign on the corner and heard "something" coming down the road. It was a huge truck with no lights on whatsoever coming down the road full bore. This is not new, but I guess I have to get used to it as I live in Texas, home of the brave and not very bright.

It is a law here in GA also to have your headlights on if it is raining. Signs are posted as you enter the state on the major hwys, people still don't do it. Illegal to use flashers unless there is an emergency need to pull to side of road to use them in order to avoid an accident.

We have ours set that way, too. I think they should always be on. Drives me crazy in early morning dawn and dusk or dim, rainy weather when idiots are driving without lights. Maybe they can see where they're going, but if I can't see them, we're both at risk! I thought these days all cars either shut off automatically or beep if you leave them on. If not, they should!

I try to drive with my lights on every time I go out. My car is bright blue but still, it seems that people do not always see it. So Lights on Ladies!!!!! We want to be here and quilting a long time to come.
