My DH is a bargain hunter. He has btought me bolts and rolls of fabric. He found a Bernina 830 for $15 and paid to have it cleaned and for additional feet. As you can imagine I possess some wild fabric. It is always a challenge when starting a project. Wish I had time for all the 'stuff' he brings me. :-)

He helps in several ways. When I ask his advice about colors, layout or borders, he gives his honest opinion. I may not take his advice, but I appreciate what he has to say.

He sets up sawhorses with plywood on top outside so I can put my quilt sandwich together with spray adhesive. I don't like spraying inside - don't like the overspray on the floor or walls.

Mine Too. He will make a template when I ask him. He has learned to stay out of the sewing room, and I stay out of his side of the garage. LOL

My DH put my tin lizzie together, he talked me in to buying a new cutting mat today, he used to help me roll the quilts when I used my quilting frames I inherited from my mother and grandmother. He helps me sometimes with layouts when I can't make up my mind. You might say he is woven in the fabric of my quilts. What a treasure!

My husband has great color sense. He is a painting/decorating contractor and he is great when it comes to arranging blocks on my design wall or recommending border colors. And he has been very patient while I converted one bedroom into my sewing room - and kind of overtook the next room with storage cubes for my surplus stash.

Yes, my DH helps me. He helps me with on advice on how to arrange the blocks, decide whether it needs sashing or not, and helps me rip out seams.

my husband would help me pick out fabric (that was in the good ole days when we could afford it) I mention a thought about a designs and he will spend hours on EQ6 designing one for me, he is an engineer so he's good at all that drawing and math stuff and I think if he wanted to learn to sew he could do better than I could on quilts. Now he justs builds furniture
