My hubby does all the cooking- always has. He has a sign saying that it is kitchen. He absolutely hates it if I make anything because no matter how I clean up, he says I leave it in a mess, so to keep harmony in the house I stay out of the kitchen. He also does all the laundry & housework but not the ironing that is my job. Pretty lucky aren't I.

Mine cooks breakfast on the weekends and will make grilled cheese sandwiches with canned soup. He can cook other things, I like my better and doing dishes is his chore, I do all others. He's been cooking breakfast on weekends about last 15 yr.s or so, not bad after over 48 yr.s of marriage.

I have a cast iron gut and I can drown anything in Sweet Chili Sauce to get it down.
He does the same thing with laundry - machine washed Alpaca anyone? I will never surrender to his evil doings bwa haha

I was retired for 10 years before my DH got to retire. I did everything in the house for those 10 years. When DH retired, he said it was his turn to take over. He does the grocery shopping on Monday, runs errands on Tuesday, cleans house on Wednesday, and cooks almost every night. Yes, he has a brother, but he's lazy! I'm deeply indebted to my wonderful DH for doing all these things so I can play and enjoy my hobbies of quilting, shopping and going out to lunch. It's been 3 years now, and he's still being wonderful! Hope he doesn't quit when he reaches 10 years!

Yes mine cooks---far better than I do. He is out of work right now and I am full time, so he does most of the cooking and grocery shopping. I feel like I am on vacation even though I have to do the clean up.

I rather not have him cooking in the kitchen and I'm glad he doesn't want to. Grilling and smoking meats on the weekend is much bigger help to me and he likes grilling. He can make a whole day of entertainment for himself when he gets to marinating, basting and grilling meats.
