Both of mine went far away in different directions. It was hard for a little while and then one day I said "wait a minute - I can do what I want and there isn't someone hungry all the time!" I did miss them, especially the second one because then the house was really empty, except for hubby, but, of course we stayed in contact, even if it wasn't in person. And it turned out not as bad as I was scared it would be.

The best advice you'll ever get is don't ever send a package by courier......UPS...etc....DO NOT DO IT!!!!!!! You will get charged with excessive brokerage fees at the border!!!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!! Heard stories of people gettting huge fees, way more than the item was worth! USPS or Canada Post the other way!!!!!
