Update, 4 dead, 38 homes destroyed.

I work in San Fran and live East Bay.

Scary thing!
I also heard that last week people in the area sent complaints that they were smelling gas...
So sad!

The news crew interviewed one chicky who said that they were smelling gas for a few days. When asked if she reported it, she said: "Naw, I didn't but others probably did...." WOW, I was flabbergasted.

Those poor people - particularly those with severe burns. Burns are supposed to be among the most painful hurts there are.

I couldnt imagine smelling gas and not reporting it! I would rather be safe and wrong, than worry about looking crazy!

Oh my gosh Nikki and Mad, that is awful that people smelled gas and now this enormous explosion.

It is amazing that this news has already traveled the entire world.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone concerned.

Here in Colorado we are so focused on the wildfire that has burned over 160 homes that it is taking precedence on our local news. Regarding the San Fransisco explosion, I am so sorry for everyone that has lost their homes/businesses. I pray for the safety of everyone, especially the first responders/firefighters.

Oh, and just a clarification, it was actually in San Bruno, not San Francisco.
San Bruno is just south of San Francisco.
