I'm so sorry to hear that -- its a lot of work putting those shelves up and getting fabric on there just right. Home Depot has open shelving units that have braces that are put directly into studs and the shelving hooks off the braces. Each shelf is supposed to hold well over 1000 lbs. That might be just the ticket for you. Plus, if you want more room (or less) you just move the shelf up or down on the brace and rehang it. I put those into my daughters closet at her new home (a huge walk in) and its now fully loaded with hardly room to put more clothes in, and working great.

I use the boltless shelving units that can stand-alone and are adjustable.

I bought the tennsco brand - and love them.

The only equipment needed to assemble them - besides some warm bodies - is a rubber mallet/hammer.

I have the Z-Line shelving.

I think one can also get it from distributors near wherever one lives.

When I first started buying it, all that was available was that icky particle board for the shelving (which I polyurethaned). Now one can get shelving with a white laminated surface - which is a bit more expensive, but so much nicer!

Happened once to me too. Had just come home from a winter's vacation down south and there was such a mess. When DH started fixing everything, he found out that the top shelf broke first, fell on the second shelf which eventually broke and the fabric was a total mess. Had to take everything out, sort it and put good supports in the wall. So far, so good.

So sorry, wish I could help you sort and pick it all up. Good luck and let us know what you do and how it works.
