Meanmom, they say exercise is the best de-stresser but I know I would go for the brownie too.
Just to make clear to everyone about the extra 49 points in WW. You can use them anytime during the week. You can spread them out to use every day during the week, if you need them, or if you have a special party or something you could use them all in 1 day. Or not use them at all. I'm sure you would lose more weight with not using them.
Cindy, I mailed my FQ on friday and also threw in a couple of stamps for you to use for postage when mailing the package.
I am going to a super bowl party later today. It will be hard to not eat all the goodies. Maybe just a bite of each!

THanks everyone for the encouragement. I will work thru it somehow. Not sure how yet. I am finished with the brownies my husband and son killed them. I will move on to something healthier now. Yes for all you WW I love my 49 floating points. Sometimes I use them all at once, like probably today. Sometimes I spread them out over the week, sometimes I don't use them at all. I use them for unexpected surprises like a trip to Waffle House, or my brownie binge. Except on my brownie binge I went over a little. Oh well I am back on the wagon this week. I got a new recipe this week at WW that is pretty good. I was for pancakes. I was kinda skeptical because it sounded a little weird but tried it anyway. You take one of the WW smoothie mixes and stir in 3 egg whites. Let it stand for 5 minutes and cook it as a pancake. I used vanilla and added blueberries. It was good. 3 PP for the whole thing. I also tried the chocolate and thinned it a little with water like a crepe and filled it with strawberries and a little FF cream cheese with a little milk and splenda and a couple of drops of lemon juice. It was like a dessert crepe. Pretty yummy and low points for when you just NEED something sweet.

meanmom, your recipes sound good. It's quiet here. Everyone must be at Super bowl parties. I ending up staying home to bug my allergies. This flannel quilt wasn't washed before it was made (I tried, but they wanted to get it started) and it's very linty. My eyes and nose aren't happy. The rail fence blocks are going fast, but the Friendship Star ones are taking longer. I may try one of my other machines with a vertical bobbin - not now, of course, to see how it will FMQ. The 301 does a fantastic job, but the bobbin doesn't hold a lot of and small stippling uses it up quickly. The Necchi is in a cabinet which I like, but it's not slant needle. I think the slant needle helps a little with visibility. Decisions, decisions. I managed to sew some the packing tape I use to hold my slider in place to back of the quilt. That was fun to get out without pulling out any of the silky rayon stitches.

My weight was still down again this morning. I guess I need to count sugar grams for a while longer. I clicked on the advertisement that shows up across the screen occasionally about 5 foods you should never eat - guess what was #1 - sugar and that includes all artificial sweeteners, too. You'll never separate me from my chocolate, but I can certainly consume less. It wasn't a bad video though it ended with a sales pitch.

Off to feed my furgirls and get back to my quilt. Not all dogs are the same - I'm sure non dog owners think a dog is a dog is a dog, but I find them very breed specific. Lily is a Siberian mix and Moira is a Border Collie/Lab. They eat in their crates and last night the doors were closed when we arrived in the front entry. Moira reached up and pulled her door open. Lily stood and yodeled at hers. The talker thought she could talk it open.

I am losing weight and becoming healthier. Goodnight, all.

Good morning ladies.

I didn't do so good at church this morning and used some of my 49 points I'm sure, but I came home and got back with it so the rest of the day wasn't to bad.

We all watched the super bowl and cheered for the giants. We usually would cheer for the packers but since they didn't make it this time we chose the giants. Did some quilting in the afternoon, mostly cutting. Today we sew and cut.

I have four machines, one is waiting for the repair man to repair back from Florida. The other three are useable. I was on ebay the othe day and somebody was selling a brother Festival (40 years old) for 25.00 dollars. I couldn't pass it up. They claim it works and it come with the manual and attachment so I thought it was an O.K. deal It's being shippedc ups now, I'm, so anxious. Once I actually get it hear and try it out I can email my sewing repair man if it needs anything and set up a appoint for when he gets back. There's lots I can do to it myself, like clean it and easy stuff. I promised this was the last sewing machine but he wants an embroidery machine so I guess some day we are in for at least one more. And I want a long arm but that is really a long way down the road. It's probably just a dream right now.

We have three dogs, a chihuahua, a springer mix and a terrier mix. None or them wanted to go out this morning. We have a fenced in yard so we just let them run but oh this morning did they protest. It,s not snowing or raining but it's really damp and drury. The kind of weather that makes your bones ache.

Well, hope you have a good day. God Bless everyone.

Jeanne

Jeanne, you did well the rest of the day so that was a wise use of your points for you. Remember we talked last month about having a feast day so our bodies don't go into starvation mode. Every five days seems to work for me. I would imagine there were a lot of feast days yesterday.

I'll be back later. I was just checking in now. I have a meeting at church then a doctor app't and several things to do first so I'm on hyperspeed.

Wishing you all a healthy day.
Judy

I will be mailing the winnings out to the winners. I made the final decision to split the pot. MJ and Jeanne watch for your winnings. They both have 10 skinny FQ's coming. I am excited to hear that each of us are going down and watching what we are doing.

Ladies keep up the good work.

Off to pulmonary rehab. I have one more session unless I decide today is my last day. It might be. they said I can graduate anytime I am ready. i am ready for moving on with my life and I get to join the gym and not be limited when I can go. YEAH

MJ, I think I left a number out on your address, I had it as 38 instead of 380...........let me know if and when your package arrives. My return address is on it so hopefully it will come back to me in the next 5 to 7 days and I will remail to the correct address. I may go by the post office and see if I can fix it.

Greetings Ladies! Dreary Monday here in ND. Cold also, so I put a fire in the fireplace. Slowly it's warming things up. Have been eating beans, beans and salad, beans and things. Down again today on the scale, so it must be working. Haven't done WW for years, but it sounds like it has changed a lot. I started a table runner for my SIL and will try to put a few more squares together. I decided the more weight I loose the more fabric I can buy because the food budget will be less, or something. Rewards, Rewards.

Well work was a little better today. The teacher was nicer. She still doesn't give me say in things but at least I didn't get dirty looks all day and reprimanded every time a certain student got near me. I didn't really work with him at all today which is good because he was really nuts today. He kept grabbing another student and smacked the teacher a couple of times. This happened maybe 20 times. I was so glad I wasn't working with him. He also stood on the table several times.
I think I ate all 49 of my extra points yesterday. Today is a new day and I have been eating healthy. I missed my morning workout, I slept thru the alarm. I loose so much better when I exercise. I made stir fry for dinner and it was delicious. Low points. The soy sauce is a little high in sodium. I will have to watch that tomorrow. Good luck to everyone.

meanmom, I'm glad you had a good day. If I were on WW, I'd be out of extra points. I had part of a can of sweetened canned milk left from some baking this morning so I made a dessert similar to the Magic Bars, but, of course, no graham crackers. My daughter who appears to share the celiac problem - though she hasn't been blood tested or biopsied - came over to take a chair I wanted gone and we scarfed the whole batch. It wasn't very big, but still.....

Everose, a fire in the fireplace is so lovely but I have trouble building one just for me. I do have an arched candleholder that holds 9 large candles that I use when I'm alone. It looks very pretty but doesn't really add much heat. Has anyone tried a fireplace with the butane burners? I'm trying to figure out how to use them in my woodburning fireplace. I would think if I carved my artificial logs (I have those, too) to hold them, it would work. If I carved Ha.. THat's what I have a son and a SIL each with a Sawsall for. My son has an artistic bent (he is a stone mason along with his other occupations) and would place the holes just so.

Thank you, Cindy, for reminding me to mail my FQ. I am on a deadline on this quilting. The binder told me today she would like it by Wednesday evening, so my mind is elsewhere. My apologies. I hope you had today off after 2 twelve hour days. You'll feel free when you finish rehab, but you'll miss it, too.

Off to straighten the mess we made moving furniture. Maybe I'll try the Sit 'n Fit and burn off some calories.

Have a good evening, everyone.
