Its the "Dogwood" festival here today, so of course its cold and rainy. We got quite a bit of rain the other day, and we are deffinately experiencing a Cold Front.

Cold, windy and rainy here too :(
I hope that the flood watch doesn't turn into a warning.

I remember many years ago in Milton on the Mud River. One of my uncles brought in to Grandma a lovely rocking chair that he'd seen floating down the rain swollen river. He'd thrown out a long rope with a hook on it and drug it in. I think they got a lot of things that way, from the chair to a little chicken coop, with chickens sitting on its roof.

Sure hope that you are above flood level, with this weather you never can tell just how much higher it will come than it did in the past.

Looks like we are going to get a hellacious thunderstorm later today. I have moved all my seedlings under cover and have boards to cover my planter boxes to save my tomatoes and lettuce in case it hails like it said it may.

76 and beautiful here in South East Texas. Windy though. But glad we're not in West Texas with all the fires. So sad..
