We have almost gotten blown away here in Upshur Co. Then guess what, more rain, surprise, surprise, surprise. I am up so high that I do not have to worry about deep flooding, just massive puddles everywhere, but if I want to go to town, I gots to go down. This has sure been a crazy weather year or so. We have been "in the box" for tornado watch several times lately, but luckily, just hurricane winds.

It's raining to beat the band up here, and several of the roads around town are under water. Many thanks to my husband for replacing our sump pump last month; the new one hasn't stopped running in hours!
