Got up this A.M. and it was 23 out. We moved here to get away from the cold. We usually don't get this until mid Jan. and only for a few weeks. I wonder if this means spring will be here early? Yeah, right!! I'm in the NW panhandle. Burrrr, my arthritis is really aching today.

But the cold will not last for long in FL. Lived ther for 25 years and moved to GA for retirement a year ago. First winter we were in FL was about the coldest on record........thought we had made a big mistake but it warmed up quick.

I live in North Port and have been in Florida almost two years. I am still a northerner. I love this cold weather! I now know it is December. Last year I could not tell one season from another. Sorry all my fellow Floridians I know it is a little too much for you but, can't help enjoying this.

I am in what's considered the Tropics! It's freezing here. Tomorrow I return to Connecticut. Not a lot colder there than Fort Myers Florida!!

Northerners always love the colder weather in FL. Enjoy it because it does not last long and when it gets hot.................it stays hot a long time.
