My cat ate a piece of tinsel off the tree and we went through the same thing. No more tinsel at our house!!!!!!

I had to do that with my old cat but it wasn't string; it was tinsel off our Christmas tree. At least he was festive!

I did that once...yrs ago...thought it was twig or something and when i pulled it out, was wondering why the cat was yeowings and it snapped off....turned out to be a worm. UGH! took to vet and was treated. Never happened again....UGH !!
