Sounds like the trip is going smoothly so far. You're smart to not drink alcohol on the flight - it dehydrates you soooooooooo fast.

Yes - traveling 1st class has a LOT of perks - especially on a long trip.

Safe travels for the rest of the journey.

Yes Bill is traveling with us. NO way am I going to do the drive by myself.

Right now we are in William, AZ, I think that's the name, about an hour south of Grand Canyon. WIll visit there tomorrow IF the weather is nice. If not, we will head east on Rte 66 and take our time. Saw weather channel and they said weather not nice in midwest, so will take our time going into KS.

Had to drive thru a freaking blizzard to get here, but we arrived safely. Not sure about other drivers who were speeding up a storm and couldn't understand why I was driving so slow. Hello people...look at my plate, it says G U A M ! ! Not going to drive like a bat outta hell in a blinding storm like the rest of the idiots!

I do have a cell phone now.
    Number is 620-779-0046
Yes, It's a KS number. Had to give them a zipcode and the first one I blurted out was for MIL, that's why it's a KS number. So, if ya'll want to keep track of me, you can. Don't worry about minutes, minutes are unlimited for me.

    HUGS!

Wow...you are making quick progress! Sounds like the van has a homing device and is tracking you closer and closer to the babies! I'm glad you are trying to take your time and enjoy the scenery though...enjoy the journey!!! Stay safe! (and bring a little rain this direction with you....but no tornados please!)

The snow could have waited a while. Didn't really want to go driving thru the stuff right away.
Ok, trying to get everyone out of bathroom so we can pack up and head to Grand Canyon. Hope the weather holds for us. It's 28 degrees out there at the moment, so not too sure about it........

    Welcome stateside kiddo!!
Yep, that cold storm came from here yesterday...didn't snow here, but we did have rain.
I lost track of this thread - if I had realized you got to fly 1st class, I might have taken the morning off, just so I could stand at the airport with a "Welcome Home Terri" sign!!! lol
Have a safe trip on your way to those cuties in AL....
