when you get to VA- do you have to get new plates?

I'd love your Guam ones if you ever get rid of them. It would make a cool vanity plate for my car. :)

We had fun with our Hawaii plates when we traveled cross country last time. People would pass us and point and you could see them mouthing.. HA WA EEEEE. lmao

Yes, we have to get rid of our Guam plates, but sorry, they are spoken for already. I always keep one for our wall and Courtney is wanting the other one. Had we swapped plates on the truck when we sold it, we would have had those, but it was cheaper for the guy to just keep the plates that were on it, so we let him keep them.

I have a friend who has offered me money for all my plates. Nope, can't give them up. She's actually wanting my CT plates. They say CAT and have a number, can't think of it at the moment. All the money from those plates went to the Humane Society. You had a choice of CAT, DOG or PET. Of course, I wanted CAT lol

Quick funny story and I don't want to offend any blondes, but this girl was a blonde in every way, shape and form....
Anyway...we were in KS on our way to CT on our drive cross country. We were in a coffee shop sitting with the BIL and just having a good time when the little girl says...HA WHY YA? That plate says HA WHY YA? (some people cannot pronounce Hawaii properly). So, I chuckled and decided I would have a little fun. I said Yes, that says Hawaii and that's my van. Blonde..How did you get here? Did you drive?
Me...Yup, sure did, took the Chunnel.
Blonde...Chunnel? Cool? How long did it take?
Me...Took 2 days. We had to make a reservation to go into the Chunnel because they only allow so many people each day. You drive 1/2 way thru and there's a gas station and hotel that you stay at then in the morning, you continue your drive and end up in CA.
    Blonde...Really? That's too cool!
Me...Have you EVER been out of Independence, KS?
Blonde...Well, I went to Tulsa, OK once.
Me...(reeling in the big fish and trying not to laugh) Oh, you really should get out more.
Boy working with Blonde...Don't believe her, she's pulling your leg. There's no Chunnel.
    Blonde...Are you playing with me?
Me...Yes, I'm sorry, thought I would have some fun.
Blonde...Ok, so, how did you REALLY get the van here.
Me...We put pontoons around it and sailed it here.
Blonde talking to boy....she's joking again, isn't she.
    Boy...Yes, she is.
Me....I'm sorry. We put the van on a big ship, it sailed to CA and we flew there and picked it up.
Blonde....No way. Really? Are you joking with me again?
    Me....Yes, really...that's what we did.
Blonde....I think I really need to pay more attention in school.
Me...Yes, I think that would be a good idea.
Boy whispering to me....she's a nice girl, but she's a real space case.
It was one of those things that you HAD to be there. Was priceless!! My BIL was rolling on the floor busting a gut laughing. He couldn't believe I did this all with a straight face. lmao

Terri I don't know how you could keep a straight face ! LOL

And be sure and take pics from "up there" on the second deck

And if possible I have another request --- take a pic of the Guam plate somewhere in the states next to a "Welcome to the state of ??" sign , does that make sense ? I just think it would be neat to see the plate stateside

Most of all Safe and happy travels

Love the 'blond' story. I hope you can gather a few more laughs on your road trip.

Thanks for un-confusing me re Little Creek. How long is this assignment? You've probably already told us, but lately I've had a short attention span LOL.
