We are trying to track down Fr Mike now. He's TDY to NC. We don't know if he's at the Marine Corp base or at home in Asheville. Either way, we are trying to find him. The people at the chapel in Guam call him "the ghost" because one minute he's there, the next he is gone. He's a very busy man and is always doing something.
It's not the people in the condo. They are already gone from what we can figure. Peeked in the front window and there's nothing there.

I have been praying. Hoping something happens tomorrow. We really don't want to sign a lease anywhere if we find something because knowing my luck, the minute we do find something, Fr Mike will call and say we can definitely have his place

Don't sign a lease, I know you want to get settled quickly, but giving it another week or so will not hurt. Be a honeymooner a little while longer, you'll have plenty of help and you know you don't want to move again in a year or so unless it's to THE home. So relax and let it come to you! Take the pressure off and get some sun, it is shining down there at least, isn't it?

    We are waiting.
Got a lead on a NICE place at a golf course. It's a condo/townhome, but looks nice. End unit and only 5.5 miles from the base. Bill says it looks nice, but will give the guy a call and see what he says. Rent price is good too.
    Will see what tomorrow brings.

Sunshine? In the form of liquid lol

I'd be bored outta my gourd!!! Well, you do have plenty of time to explore and thats always fun....maybe you should make a list of quilt shops and take a few days and go shop hopping!

Wishing you good luck with the house hunting....fingers crossed that it'll be over for you soon :D
